Sep 2 (Enhancement) Anniversaries Live gets faster loading of birthdays feed
We’ve heard your feedback! Some customers noticed that when there are many birthdays in the list, the web part could take minutes to load. To fix this, we’ve added birthday and month caching.
The Birthday List now loads much faster for all users.
Page admins can refresh the cache anytime with the new “Refresh Birthdays” button.
Enjoy a smoother, faster experience!

Sep 10 (Enhancement) People Directory can now pull Mobile Numbers from Entra ID
Previously, there was a long-standing issue where mobile phone numbers stored in Entra ID did not automatically sync with SharePoint , since SharePoint had its own separate “Mobile Phone” field. This often led to confusion and inconsistent contact information across your directory.
What’s New
Based on a customer request, Origami People Directory will now pull mobile phone numbers directly from Entra ID by default — ensuring accurate and up-to-date contact details across your organization.
Configuration Options
- Prefer using the legacy SharePoint Mobile Phone field? You still can!
- Want to hide or show the Entra ID Mobile Phone field? Use the new toggle in the Origami People Directory settings to control visibility.

Sep 10 (Enhancement) Hide Disabled Accounts from Entra ID in Origami People Directory
We’ve made it even easier to keep your People Directory clean and up to date.

What’s New
You can now automatically hide users who are marked as “Account enbaled” in Entra ID — based on popular customer requests.
![]()
This helps ensure that inactive or deprovisioned users no longer appear in your directory.
How to Enable

Sep 15 (Enhancement) Calendar Audience Targeting for Events
By popular request, you can now target events to specific audiences in SharePoint.
This means you can make an event visible only to members of selected Microsoft 365 (M365) groups which is perfect for department-specific events.
When creating an event in SharePoint, simply set the desired group in the Audience field:
Only users who belong to this M365 group will see the event in the calendar.

Sep 22 (Enhancement) Calendar can now pull events by SharePoint View
You asked, we delivered. The Origami Calendar web part just got a major boost in flexibility.
Until now, the Calendar pulled in all events from your chosen calendar. But starting today, administrators can take it to the next level:
Set a View URL — including any filters or custom views you’ve created.
Display Events from that View Only — giving you full control over which events appear in the Calendar.
This means your Calendar can now adapt perfectly to your audience:
- Highlight department-specific events on a department page even if those events are in the same list as all the other events🔧
- Focus on location-based schedules for specific location page🌍
- Or display only the categories that matter for specific page🎯

Oct 1 (Enhancement) Collapser now lets you save text in rich format
Until now, the Collapser automatically stripped out formatting to keep pasted text clean. While this worked for plain text, it made rich content like tables, styled lists, and links lose their structure.
Based on your feedback, we’ve added a new option: Preserve formatting.
You can now toggle this preference when editing so that pasted content looks exactly the way you want it to.
Example: Pasting from Word or a website will now keep the formatting when displayed on your SharePoint page.
In the editor:
On a published page
With this update, you can choose between a clean, stripped-down paste or fully formatted content.
