Configuring anniversaries
You can make the web part show a feed of upcoming:
- Birthdays – set in individual user profile (see steps: Setting Employee Birth Date in SharePoint User Profile)
- Hire Date Anniversaries – set in Azure/ Entra ID (see steps: Setting Employee Hire Date in Azure/ Entra ID)
- New Hires – set Hire Date in Azure/ Entra ID (same as for Hire Date Anniversaries)

Filter out users
Available in Anniversaries (live)– Version June 2, 2025
You filter out users except those belonging to a specific M365 group, like this:
Above, only users belonging Marketing Members group will show and everyone else will not show. This can let you hide contractors and service accounts.
