Request for Enhancement: Top Navigation Web Part Functionality

Web part name (as shown in web part properties):
Top Navigation Web Part

What is current web part behavior (or look) that does not work for you?
The logo/icon in the top navigation bar is currently clickable and redirects users to a predefined page. This behavior has led to confusion and dissatisfaction among users, as the destination is not always relevant to their expectations. Users often click the logo assuming it will either return them to a meaningful landing page or remain non-interactive.

What would you like the web part behavior (or look) to be?
Ideally, administrators should have the flexibility to assign a custom URL to the logo, allowing them to control where users are redirected upon clicking it.

Alternatively, if this is not feasible, the logo should not be clickable at all, ensuring that no link appears on hover and preventing unintended navigation.

Sketch/Mockup: Not available at the moment, but the requirement is focused on either enabling configurable redirection or disabling interaction entirely.

What is the scenario for which you need the suggested new look/behavior?
This enhancement is required to improve the overall user experience and align the navigation behavior with user expectations. Providing either customization or disabling the click action will reduce confusion, prevent unnecessary redirects, and ensure a more intuitive and controlled navigation structure across the internal website.

Thank you for your suggestion @Sumit, everything makes sense and we will post an update here when one is ready.
