You can set up your Events web part to track who has registered for an event.
Here is how you do that:

Create a new event or Edit an existing event

Scroll to the Link textbox

Enter this URL in the address: https://your_tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/IntranetHome/SitePages/RSVP.aspx?event=Event Title
In here:
-replace “your tenant” with the URL of your tenant
-replace “Event Title” with any event name that will let you track who has registered for what event -
Under Display Name, enter “RSVP here”, or any label that will prompt employees to RSVP

Save your event
You can track who RSVP’d by accessing this list:
https://your_tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/IntranetHome/Lists/RSVP
