- The option to flag whether to use the creation date or publish date of the news post.

What is the scenario for which you need the suggested new look/behavior?
- Two Scenarios
- Scenario 1 - Bringing over content from another Intranet into SharePoint you will want to bring over some past news articles so the home page using this webpart has news content. When you bring over content you would need to rebuild in a specific order by hand opposed to using automation tools to rebuilding the pages and using PowerShell to update the publish date.
- Scenario 2 - We have multiple communication team members that are all working on different posts that may be prepared well in advance of when they need to be published. If they created the news post last month but published it today, it will not display first on the list. This is the primary reason for the request.
