What is the scenario for which you need the suggested new look/behavior?

We’d be using it as a place for people to store notes about clients or projects.

Thank you for your suggestion. What field type would be needed (Textbox)?

Great to hear back from you. The ability to add a title textbox, name/email of author textbox, and the ability to add an attachment would be great. Mirroring the options when you manually enter an item in the list that collects all the feedback notes:
