In this post, we’ll take a look at how you can hide the SharePoint header on all pages on your site or change the size of the logo.
Hiding SharePoint site header
By default, SharePoint site header can take a lot of space on your pages:
Let’s take a look at how we can hide it on all pages on your intranet so the page looks like this:
- Navigate to the main page of your intranet - aka the Hub Site
- Click the [*] → Site contents
- Find the [Config] list and open it
- Add the following new item in the list:
Title: SiteHeaderBar
Value: hide
- Save the new item and refresh the Hub Site page.
Changing the size of the logo appearing in site header
If you’re using the full site header, you can change the size of the logo to make it more prominent on your pages.
Here is how you do that:
- Navigate to the main page of your intranet - aka the Hub Site
- Click the [*] → Site contents
- Find the [Config] list and open it
- Add the following new item in the list:
Title: OverrideLogoHeight
Value: 100
This will make the size of the logo height become 100px
- Save the new item and refresh the Hub Site page.
