The button link does not align fully with text

I love that the option to include padding was added, but I would still like for the default of button links to align with text especially when flush left

Thanks for clarifying and for sharing the screenshots.
The default padding is built in so that buttons align better with Origami web parts.
Here’s how the padding option looks with Origami web parts:

As you can see, that layout isn’t ideal. The toggle is designed to give you flexibility—apply padding when it helps alignment, or remove it when it’s not needed.
That is great for web parts! But not ideal for text, but since you added the ability to add padding, could we add the ability to remove padding?
I don’t see a way to easily control the padding of text boxes outside of the indent or outdent options, which don’t have a ton of control.
Yes, the ability to add/remove padding is now added in the new version of the web part.
