Currently, Social Corner uses the Page Description field provided by Microsoft, which has a character limit of 250. This is a limitation set by Microsoft, and we need to adhere to it to ensure compatibility.
You’re not alone—several customers have shared similar feedback, and we’re actively working on a solution that will support longer text while maintaining compatibility for others already using the widget. We really appreciate your input and will keep you updated as improvements are made!
Is there a work around that we can implement until this is potentially resolved?

If posting is allowed to Authors only, then potential workaround can be this:

Use the toggle from web part properties shown below to make the title of the post clickable.

Then, add additional content to the page itself.
The result will be this: users read the summary, then click on the post title for more information.
