I love the current look. I just wish there was a second option for more of a mega menu style main navigation. We have a lot of links we’d like to include in our navigation, so the current Main Navigation web part doesn’t quite fit our needs.

Here is a mega menu example from Adidas:

It would look and function similar to the current Origami Main Navigation web part, but the drop-down menu would be expanded across the page to provide room for additional links that can be broken up into categories/subcategories. Example: We have offices in several states. It would be beneficial if we could have “Offices” in the Main Navigation and then an expanded drop-down mega menu that lists these Offices by State (ex. Wisconsin, Minnesota, Texas, Tennessee). Under those State categories would be the cities where our offices are located (ex. Onalaska, Holmen, Winona).

Having a mega menu option would reduce the number of clicks our users need to make to navigate our SharePoint site. Displaying a larger expanded menu with links organized into categories/subcategories would lead to faster navigation and an improved user experience.
