Web part - FAQ (modern)
What is current web part behavior (or look) that doesn’t work for you? Not having enough styling options for dark mode/theme, in particular when you want to customise text (including hyperlinks) and make them different colours to the site theme. I have been able to change the text and hyperlink colours in the FAQ web part, but when I save these changes and refresh the page, the Microsoft site theme overrides my customised colour selections.
> Have a screenshot (please do not include confidential info in your screenshots)? For example, in the screenshots below - I have selected a bright blue for the hyperlinks, but when I save these changes and refresh the page, it reverts to grey (site theme).
What would you like the web part behavior (or look) to be? It would be great to have more options to customise the text and hyperlink colours (to have stronger link styling options to improve visibility and accessibility).

What is the scenario for which you need the suggested new look/behavior? We have a FAQ page on our site to help answer regularly asked questions and we want to ensure that this page is accessible for everyone. It is also possible to add true white as a text colour option? It’s such a great web part - but styling enhancements would make it even better!
Thank you for your suggestion!
We just have one part to clarify.
Currently, FAQ web part inherits styles for text and hyperlinks from SharePoint theme in your environment. If we implement this suggestion, then the web part will no longer inherit from SharePoint theme in your site making FAQ links inconsistent with other links on the page (who do inherit from the theme). Would that still work for you?
My older site theme has been locked down by Microsoft, so I can no longer edit the theme colours. I tried creating a dark theme using the new Microsoft theming method, but it forces a mostly white background and only allows sections to use dark styling. Before this change, I had been testing grey theme colours on a dark background. When Microsoft locked the theme, I lost the ability to switch the grey back to a bright blue, which offers much better accessibility contrast.
As a result, I now have to manually update all site hyperlinks from grey to blue. Having the ability to set hyperlink colours directly in the FAQ web part would help keep the site consistent.
I hope this helps, but please let me know if you need any additional clarification.
