Web part name (as shown in web part properties) to which you’re suggesting an enhancement

  • Banner (Half-Image)
    What is current web part behavior (or look) that doesn’t work for you?
  • When I upload an Image which does not fit the right site of the image window, there is no zoom function just a positioning of the image.

What would you like the web part behavior (or look) to be?

  • It would be great to have a Zoom functions to such images.

What is the scenario for which you need the suggested new look/behavior?

  • Adding pictures which does not fit.

Maybe you can add an information which size the image should have. Maybe you can add it to the documention?

We added zoom controls on the top right-hand side of the banner:

Hi,

thank’s for adding the feature. I just installed the new version to test.

My intension was that we can Zoom the Image I Uploaded not the “frame with the image”
The image size does not change during the zoom. Just the frame with the image.

The image is inital to big for the frame so we have to resize the image that it fits into the frame.

Which size the picture needs that it fit completly into the frame? It not documented…

Another Idea to that webpart: Please let change the font colour of the text. When I have a light background the font colour should be possible to change.

Thank you for clarifying! We have this recommendation for image sizes: Why images in carousels look different depending on screen resolution?
This recommendation applies to all web parts that use images.
