Members toggle in Navigation

Web part name (as shown in web part properties) to which you’re suggesting an enhancement

Navigation
What is current web part behavior (or look) that doesn’t work for you?

When choosing to hide the SharePoint navigation, the Members are hidden. Additionally, the site name is hidden, taking away any mode to view the group members (other than on the admin side, which is inconvenient for non-admin employees.)
> Have a screenshot (please do not include confidential info in your screenshots)?

What would you like the web part behavior (or look) to be?

We would like an option to keep, or show in some way, the members of that site/ M365 group.
> Have a sketch or a mockup?
What is the scenario for which you need the suggested new look/behavior?

In order for users that are not admin to understand the members of each department/ project/ M365 group. Using the members webpart does not work as the organization chart does not always pertain to each group.

Thank you for brining this up.
Origami Navigation is deliberately kept clear of additional toggles provided by Microsoft built-it navigation. In your case, if you’d like to use Origami Nav on a Team Site but would also like to keep features from built in Microsoft navigation, we recommend disabling this toggle, so you can see additional options provided by Microsoft Navigation such as Members, Add to Favorites etc.

This way Origami Navigation remains Hub-like navigation and Team Site specific navigation will help navigate the Team Site.
Below example also uses “Minimal” out of the box navigation style which minimizes the space taken by navigation without loosing much of the functionality.

To set your Header as Minimal: Go to (*) → Change the look → Header → Minimal → Save
