# News Center Web Part - use custom metadata

Thank you for sharing your request. Let me confirm, we understand correctly.  
It sounds like you’d like to pull pages into specific category by metadata tag.

This should already be possible in the **News Center** web part if you create a SharePoint view inside Site Pages and set that view to filter by specific metadata tag.
